Every month, the Louis Pohl Gallery on Nuuanu Avenue features original artwork by talented local artists, such as Yukio Ozaki and Tamara Moan, but visitors still look for paintings by Pohl, which hang in the back. “People still come in to see his work,” says his widow and gallery owner Sandy Pohl. “They remember him, they took classes from him, their parents talked about him. He’s still the big draw.”
