Frame Arts Hawaii

627 South St.,
525-5212

We called art galleries around town asking who they used to frame their paintings and prints, and one name kept popping up: Kevin Brewer at Frame Arts Hawaii. Brewer has been framing for 30 years, and does work for local galleries including Cedar Street Galleries, Pegge Hopper Galleries and Nohea Galleries. He says he continues to be fascinated by the exercise of presenting art. “A good frame is so critical. It can make or break a piece.” Frame Arts offers custom-made frames only, and offers one of the state’s widest ranges of moldings and materials, including ecologically friendly koa veneer.
