Beth Bowlen Harbottle started her career planning corporate events, but changed gears after friends repeatedly asked her to coordinate their weddings. “I really liked the aspect of working with couples and being involved emotionally,” says Harbottle. The services of her company, Social Butterfly, are exclusive, available for only one wedding per month. “We really want to give the client a lot of attention, and we’re very hands-on in working with hotel coordinators and other vendors.”
