This Week’s Open House Pick: The Peninsula at Hawaii Kai

This Week’s Open House Pick: The Peninsula at Hawaii Kai

This townhouse at the Peninsula at Hawaii Kai 1 has a sought-after marina-front location.

Waterfront property in popular Hawaii Kai is always a safe bet, and this townhome at the in-demand Peninsula has a lot of my musts: It’s in the gated section of the Peninsula, which is ideal for safety, it has a marina view and access to the types of amenities that so many of today’s buyers are looking for, including a swimming pool, exercise room and boat dock.

The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath townhome has several appealing upgrades, including plantation shutters, Pergo tile floors and granite countertops. And while those are definite bonuses, what caught my eye were the high ceilings, natural light and spacious, neutral-color kitchen and bathrooms. Oh, and its excellent marina-front location.

Open house: Sun., Feb. 20, 2 to 5 p.m.
Money talk: The home is listed at $655,000. Monthly maintenance fees are $505.
