Open house pick of the week: Aiea Heights

If you’re shopping at Pearlridge on Sunday, take a little detour up Aiea Heights to check out this new listing, on the market less than a week.

The outside is plain and basic, but the interior is impressive. Although the structure is 20 years old, it sports a new roof, new blinds, freshly painted interior, wood-laminate flooring and a renovated kitchen with hardwood cabinets, granite counters and stainless steel appliances.

The multi-level home has three bedrooms—one of which is a private master suite—and 2.5 bathrooms, all in 1,538 square feet of living area.

The property, which is 4,468 square feet, is located just high enough on Aiea Heights to have a good ocean view, which you can enjoy from the open living room. It’s not so high, however, that you can’t take a quick drive to the shopping and dining options in Pearlridge and Aiea.

Its first open house is from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. (Click here for details.) Happy house hunting!

Money talk: $615,000 fee simple
