An executive rental in Alewa Heights

I’ve recently written about executive rentals in Hawaii Kai and Kahala, specifically ones that allow pets. While this home in Alewa Heights does not allow pets, the panoramic views and well-appointed interior caught my eye.

If you’re looking to buy a house in this established neighborhood, this rental would give you a chance to experience the area while scoping out homes as they come on the market, which doesn’t happen too often. There are only nine single-family homes for sale right now, and four of them are in escrow.

Perched on a rim lot, the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom house features an open living and dining area with vaulted ceilings, which opens to wraparound decks. From the decks, views span from Diamond Head to Ewa.

Granite countertops can be found in the professional kitchen, along with loads of cabinet space and a center island, perfect for spreading out while creating a culinary masterpiece.

The master suite looks toward Diamond Head as well. In the master bath, there’s even a picture window over the Jacuzzi tub (complete with a small chandelier overhead), so you can gaze over the city as you soak.

Other features in the home include a game room, a surround-sound system, a central vacuum system and central air conditioning.

In addition to pets, smokers aren’t allowed either. It’s available for immediate occupancy, with a minimum one-year lease. Click here for details.

Money talk: $6,500 a month, plus utilities
