Enjoy marina access in Hawaii Kai
One of the things I love about many of the properties in Hawaii Kai is the access residents have to a marina. A day on the water becomes quick and easy–no traffic to battle to get to a harbor or a public boat ramp.
This four-bedroom, three-bathroom townhouse at Kuapa Isle community in West Marina is not right on the water, but first priority is given to its owners for boat slip availability. Marina access is included in the maintenance fee, which at $560 is very reasonable.
Amenities also include a clubhouse, pool and a security guard at the gated community’s entrance. Low-traffic roads make for comfortable morning strolls with your dog or afternoon bike rides with the kids.
What’s nice about this 1,557-square-foot, two-story unit is that it’s located on a corner and is adjacent to a common area, so you’d only have one neighbor and more seclusion from the other homes.
On the entry level, there’s a bedroom and bathroom, allowing for privacy away from the upstairs rooms.
The master bedroom boasts Koko Head Crater views and in the evenings you can gaze at the moonrise.
Though the townhome has not been recently been renovated, that just means it’ll be easier to tailor it to your personal taste.
If you enjoy entertaining, there’s a covered 380-square-foot lanai where you can dine al fresco. When it’s too hot outside, you can take the party inside and enjoy central air conditioning.
Fuzz factor: Kuapa Isle is pet friendly, many of the residents own dogs (you can own two with no size restriction). If you forget a bag while walking your pooch, no worries, there’s a stand that dispenses them.
Two covered parking stalls are included in the price, along with extra storage in the outdoor garage area.
If you’d like to see it for yourself, the townhouse will be open on Thursday for a brokers' open (open to the public) from 9:30 to 11:.30 a.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Click here for details.
