Sponsored Edition: Shows of Strength

Alumnae star in St. Andrew's Priory's video series

St Andrews Priory

Your daughter's latest appointment television on Monday nights: The Carrie Diaries.

Who could blame her? It follows a teenage girl leading a glamorous double life in the big city. As a responsible parent, you could point out that the show is a work of fiction fueled solely by Hollywood magic.

Or you could show her how those dreams become reality at St. Andrew's Priory School.

Okay, she may not be in New York, but the 145-year-old campus is located in the heart of downtown Honolulu. Once there, she'll encounter amazing new opportunities and experiences, like performing in the only all-girl orchestra in the state, winning the Team America Rocket Challenge, or participating in the annual Model UN conference (actually, that last one really does takes place in New York City).

To capture it all, St. Andrew's Priory put together a show of their own - an online video series profiling various alumnae and their Priory experiences. The roster certainly is jet-setting:

St Andrews Priory Dawn Chan St Andrews Priory Emi Hart St Andrews Priory Colleen Hanabusa
  • Episode 1: Dawn Imada Chan, '95, headmaster in Toronto, Canada.
  • Episode 2: Emi Hart, '95, Yelp community manager.
  • Episode 3: Rep. Colleen Hanabusa, '69, U.S. Congresswoman.

Consider these videos the ultimate inspiration for your daughter.

And reality TV you most certainly approve of.

To experience St. Andrew's Priory School for yourself, visit an open house this Sunday, 1-3 p.m., or Thursday, February 14, 9-10:30 a.m., at 224 Queen Emma Square. Call (808) 536-6102 or click here for more information.
