11 commercials to watch for during Super Bowl XLVIII

Super Bowl commercials

This weekend, months of anticipation will culminate in four glorious hours of action-packed entertainment. We're talking about the Super Bowl... commercials, that is.

Below, we showcase some of the most talked-about spots, from a kick-ass movie parody to a candy-napping. Start clicking now, then keep your eyes peeled come Sunday.

You can always take bathroom breaks while some dudes throw a pigskin around.

H&M - Covered vs. Uncovered (top)
David Beckham makes his way half-naked from a rooftop to a photo shoot and H&M is letting viewers decide the ending: #covered vs. #uncovered. Watch the teasers and vote here.

Super Bowl commercials

Kia - The Truth
A couple is surprised when their new valet attendant, a.k.a. Morpheus of The Matrix, offers them a red key or a blue key. Mind-bending hijinks ensue. Watch the full commercial here.

Super Bowl commercials

Jaguar - British Villains
Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong explain why all great movie villains are British. Yeah, we totally get it. Watch the full commercial here.

Super Bowl commercials

GoDaddy - What's Your Dream?
How do you top a Bar Refaeli-geek makeout session? Have a real-life woman quit her job in your commercial. GoDaddy says her boss has no idea and a formal letter of resignation will be submitted after it airs. Watch the teaser here.

Super Bowl commercials

Hyundai - Nice
The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki tries to pick up a girl in his shiny new Hyundai, but he runs into a few roadblocks. A snarky backseat commentator doesn't help. Watch the full commercial here.

Super Bowl commercials

M&M - What happens to Yellow?
Yellow auditions to be Miley Cyrus' new backup dancer when he gets hit with a tranquilizer dart. We admit, we're not entirely sure what's happening here, but whatever it is, it's hilarious. Watch the teaser here.

Super Bowl commercials

Volkswagen - Wings
Every time a Volkswagen hits 100,000 miles, a German engineer gets his wings and, FYI, he totally hates his "wingie thingies." Watch the full commercial here.

Super Bowl commercials

Toyota - Terry Crews and the Muppets
The Muppets take Terry Crews on a joyride through bingo night, a vineyard, a country farmhouse and what looks like a Mardi Gras parade. Oh, how we wish that could happen to us. Watch the full commercial here.

Super Bowl commercials

Dannon - The Spill
Dannon reunites John Stamos with Full House co-stars Bob Saget and Dave Coulier. While this makes our inner 12-year-old squeal with glee, we're also glad little Michelle can't see what Uncle Jesse likes to do with his yogurt. Watch the full commercial here.

Super Bowl commercials

Audi - Doberhuahua
In theory, Audi wanted to show us the dangers of compromise by creating a new, terrorizing dog breed. In reality, we can't stop saying "Doberhuahua." Watch the full commercial here.

Super Bowl commercials

CarMax - Slow Clap
This spot, where everyone slow-claps as a new car owner drives through the neighborhood, may not be the most innovative, but it scores major bonus points for tacking on an adorable puppy version at the end. Watch the full commercial here.

Here's one you won't see:

Super Bowl commercials

SodaStream - Sorry, Coke and Pepsi
Technically, SodaStream will be airing some version of this commercial starring Scarlett Johansson, but one line in particular has been banned from the telecast. Genius publicity stunt? With more than four million views on YouTube, we think so. Watch the full commercial here.
