Pros and Icons

We are Iconic women's boutique opens in Ala Moana

We are Iconic boutique

Marilyn Monroe and a flirty, white halter dress.
Audrey Hepburn and a perfectly tailored LBD.
Coco Chanel and garlands of pearls.

All fashion icons have their key signature pieces. Sadly, your signature — an old behemoth of a purse — doesn't make the cut.

Time to consult We are Iconic, a new women's apparel and accessories boutique now open in Ala Moana. Owner Shie Clark stocks effortlessly cool pieces from well-known brands like James Perse, Current/Elliott and Smythe, plus buzz-worthy labels like Lovers and Friends, Paper Denim and Cloth, and Heather. (Seven years of running an online boutique out of Santa Barbara and Tokyo kept her style sense razor-sharp.)

A quick browse around the shop and you're bound to unearth your next big thing: a stunning Cameo tropical print peplum halter, a wear-with-everything Elizabeth and James boyfriend blazer, colorblocked Joie sandals or (for your purse swap) a kaleidoscopic Tylie Malibu vintage embroidered clutch.

Consider them wardrobe staples you'll reach for — and wow with — again and again.

Your inner Jackie O. will thank you.

We are Iconic is open Mondays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sundays, noon-5 p.m., at 1236 Waimanu St., Suite B. For more information, call 808-462-4575 or visit
