Six reasons to do something this weekend
What: This month's Honolulu Night Market - named Best Late-Night Shopping by HONOLULU Magazine - is dedicated to all things pop. In the Pinch of Salt warehouse, stop by Mikinola's Closet, where owner Dara Fujio will offer up discounted pieces from past photo shoots and her own personal wardrobe (think Rebecca Minkoff bags and Jeffrey Campbell shoes) plus $10 and $20 bins, and Community, where you'll find samples from Lucy Love, Lost and Black Sheep at up to 60 percent off, plus $10 to $40 racks and new arrivals from Indah, Obey, Organik and more. Other vendors include Pure Joy Adornments, Milk and Honey, Mojo Barbershop, Threading Lounge, Kira Hawaii and Oh Snap Instabooth, Digs Hawaii, Quince, Rubberstamp Plantation, Chromatixe, Salt Liko, Pualani Swimwear Kailua, and Greenroom Hawaii. Catch three fashion shows: College, featuring designs by University of Hawaii fashion students, Resort and Street, both styled by Tiare Thomas.
When: Saturday at 6 p.m. with fashion shows at 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Where: 683 Auahi St. in Kakaako.

What: Celebrate the luck of the Irish with a
glass box of spirits. In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Padovani's Chocolates is offering up two luscious flavors: Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey (bright green) and Baileys Irish Cream (green flecked with orange). Both feature a creamy, liquor-infused ganache encased in a white chocolate shell, finished with chocolate spray "paint" and glossy cocoa butter.
Where: Padovani's Chocolates, 650 Iwilei Rd., Suite 280.
Details: $2.10 each, boxes start at $5.25 for two pieces, 30-piece decorative box set (right), $85. For more information, call (808) 536-4567 or click here.
What: House of Aria celebrates the one-year anniversary of its downtown Honolulu boutique with a birthday bash at M Nightclub. Shop brand new arrivals not available in-store (RSVP today to score 25 percent off everything), catch a spring trend fashion show featuring bright corals, mints and florals, and nibble on treats by Sweet Temptations Cupcakery. Prizes will be awarded every 30 minutes (sneak a peek here) and the first 25 shoppers with purchases of $50 or more get a Blank Canvas swag bag.
When: Tomorrow, 5-9 p.m. Fashion show starts at 8 p.m.

Wrap It Up

Now, step it up a notch with Beach 2 City's latest Make & Take class, where designer Katharine Rita will teach you how to braid your very own cotton wrap bracelet in spring's hottest shades and finish them with semiprecious stones and crystals.
When: Sunday, noon-2 p.m. or 3-5 p.m.
Where: The ARTS at Marks Garage, 1159 Nuuanu Ave.
Details: $25 per person, pre-registration required, all materials included. Enroll online here.
What: Browse Mei Vintage's new spring handbags, which debuted online earlier this week. This season, designer Alice Huang introduces a new chevron bucket crossbody, made from soft distressed leather and suede, retro-inspired flapovers with hand-beaded detail, and a woven leather hobo with antique brass studs ($358, shown right in a limited-edition vintage kimono underlay).
