Mashers of Disguise
It’s been three days since Thanksgiving and you’re still staring at a mountain of mashed potatoes, wondering, “When will this gravy reign end?”
Instead of stuffing yourself with more stuffing, try mixing things up. Turn your gloppy seconds into a whole new meal with the help of this easy grilled sandwich recipe courtesy of Melt, Honolulu's favorite new food truck.
Just the thing to gobble up those leftovers.
Melt's Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich
Ingredients
2 slices sourdough bread, each slice buttered on one side
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
2 slices roast turkey
2 ounces grated cheddar cheese
Directions
Build your sandwich in this order: one slice of bread, half the cheese, turkey slices, cranberry sauce, and finally the rest of the cheese. Cook the sandwich on a hot griddle, buttered sides out, until the cheese is totally melted.
If you'd rather leave the grilling up to the pros find Melt's most recent location by following them on twitter @meltHNL.
