Recently, The Pineapple Room debuted an Early Bird Special, a three-course prix fixe dinner for $40. The early bird menu, available Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., offers a choice of appetizer—an Otsuji Farm Caesar salad or black bean chicken and pork gyoza with ko choo jang vinaigrette and housemade kim chee; choice of entree—the popular furikake salmon on ochazuke risotto or kalua pork roast on a hearts of palm and potato puree; and dessert, a Kula strawberry tiramisu with white chocolate macadamia nut praline and yuzu curd.

It's a great way to experience some of The Pineapple Room's most popular dishes. Add wine pairings for an additional $12.

The Pineapple Room also offers a loco moco prix fixe, a four-course menu for $45 which stars the restaurant's famous loco moco, in which white rice is upgraded to fried rice and the standard gravy to veal jus. Plus, to start, there's a mini ahi poke moco topped with a quail egg, and to finish, a Waialua chocolate candy bar, a refined version of a Snickers bar with Hawaiian salt caramel, chocolate ganache, praline crunch, and triple chocolate "brownie" cookies.
