Global Real Estate Summit Coming to Hawaii
The Asian Real Estate Association of America Global Summit will be taking place April 21-23 at the Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton Waikiki. AREAA for short, the conference is geared towards brokers, real estate agents, investors, and really anyone who is interested in the global real estate market and wants to expand their education.
“We simply haven’t had this type of innovative education offered here in Hawaii before, and we are so lucky to be hosting this conference here in Hawaii. The caliber of this summit is unsurpassed, with leaders such as Sherry Chris of Better Homes and Gardens and Bradley Inman of Vook. It is an incredible educational opportunity to learn about global markets and new trends to make your business better,” said Kelly Mitchell of Agent Caffeine, one of the speakers at the conference.
The last AREAA conference was in New York City, and conference planners chose Hawaii for this conference as a centralized location for their global market.
What is unique about the AREAA conference is that while AREAA itself is celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Hawaii chapter is brand new. (Last month new, to be exact.) The new chapter has teamed up with the local organizations Hawaii Association of Realtors (HAR) and the Hawaii International Real Estate Council (HIREC) for this 2nd Global Summit. Speakers include Governor Neil Abercrombie and Roy Yamaguchi of Roy’s Restaurants, as well as plenty of other big names. There will be multiple networking opportunities, with some aimed specifically at young professionals.
Tomorrow is the last day to register at the early bird rate of $399. You can purchase tickets at this price by visiting www.summit.areaa.org and entering "HAR399" in the registration code area. After Friday, the cost goes up to $649 for the conference or a one-day pass can be purchased for $149 on-site.
