Waterfront living in Kaneohe Bay

All photos courtesy of Choi International

Whether or not you’re into ocean activities, this property on Kaneohe Bay is a great find. On one hand, your boat dock is just steps away, so you can easily get to the water. On the other, the 14,462-square-foot CPR lot has expansive green lawns, so you can enjoy the ocean views while staying planted on terra firma.

The boat ramp and legally-permitted boat dock sits on a secluded cove and gives you quick access to cruising Chinaman’s Hat, the Sandbar, or Coconut Island. (Click here for more information and photos of the fish they’ve caught.)

The current owners built the custom four-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home, which includes a two-bedroom, one-bath guest suite with private entrance, kitchenette, separate laundry and private deck—ideal for multi-family living, guests, or as a rental unit. The residence is a spacious 3,066 square feet.

The main home features high ceilings, an open kitchen with granite countertops, workshop, built-ins, and—my favorite—ample storage. There are ocean views from almost every room, and many decks around the exterior to further enjoy the panorama.

The master suite upstairs is a large living area in itself, with a huge master bathroom, walk-in closet, and laundry chute (leading to the second laundry room).

Despite being private and secluded, this listing is very convenient, as H-3 access is right across the street.

Money talk: $1,888,000 fee simple
