Upgraded townhouse in Kaneohe
When realtor/owner Kai Brown of Prudential Locations LLC was describing the perks of her newly listed three-bedroom, two-bath townhouse at Puu Alii in Kaneohe, she told me about the views of the Koolau Mountains from the unit. “The sunsets are just beautiful.” Then she joked, “If I keep talking about it, I may not want to sell it.”
It’s that kind of sentiment that can make you feel good about purchasing a home. You know the owners cared about the place they lived in and truly enjoyed their time there.
Brown also made sure to keep the things up-to-date with a complete kitchen renovation and other upgrades last year. In addition to changing the original floor plan, granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances and ceramic tile flooring were installed in the open-design kitchen.

The maintenance fee, which covers sewer and water, is reasonable at $587 a month.
The Puu Alii complex, which is spread over 55 acres, features three pools, a hot tub and sauna, two tennis courts, a jogging path, a large park-like grassy area and 24-hour security. There’s also a picnic area with tables that you can reserve for parties or family gatherings.
Fuzz factor: Let the fur fly, dogs and cats are allowed.
