Open house of the week: Mililani Mauka

Get in on the ground floor of the Havens of Ii Vistas, literally.

A ground-floor condo in the Mililani Mauka gated town-home complex was just listed on Monday, and the first open house is coming up on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Since the three-bedroom unit is on the first floor, it offers a garden view and a small yard. Plus, just beyond the fenced in courtyard, you’ll discover a woodsy area, a feature not generally associated with Oahu condominiums.

Built in 2005, the condo is bright and breezy, with modern appliances and ceiling fans throughout. The perimeter unit has been upgraded with ceramic tiles and bamboo laminate floors, along with Corian countertops.

At 966 square feet, it’s not terribly spacious, but it’s also priced under $400,000, which should make it attractive to those looking for a starter home.

Check it out at 95-1099 Koolani Drive #250.

Money Talk: $395,000
