Hot property to close out all offers today

Sometimes, all sale conditions hit just right for a listing, and this listing at 3533 McCorriston St. has definitely hit it just right. If you were one of the hundreds of buyers interested in this home — which just listed less than a week ago — offers are due by 5 p.m. today.

When this listing held its broker’s open last Wednesday, realtor Tao Miller says they saw 78 people come through (according to the sign in sheet), and got offers within two hours of showing. Yesterday, as of 3 p.m., 60 people had visited. By comparison: the average open house sees about 10 people, and drawing 20 to 30 visitors is considered a good day.

“McCorriston Street is the most desirable street in this area,” Miller explains. “This house was newly built in 2003 and still looks new; it’s priced at under $1 million. Other homes for sale in this area that are priced at $700,000 to $800,000 tend to be tear-downs. So this is a very well-priced home in a great neighborhood.”

If you didn’t get to see it, the 1,941-square-foot home is two stories with three bedrooms and two and a half baths with a very open, flowing floor plan. The second floor lanai, situated over the garage, is a huge space that’s perfect for entertaining. A park is located on the other side of the home, so there’s an unobstructed view of Diamond Head. It’s surrounded on three sides by a professionally landscaped yard, a lot of 4,743 square feet of land area.

If you’re interested, you better hurry. The property is so hot, they had to set a deadline for offers!
