Good afternoon, class! My name is Ms. Chic and welcome to SAT Prep, where we'll be covering all sorts of Stylish Accessories and Threads. With university and private schools back in session next week, we're studying up on cool looks that you can rock in (or out of!) the classroom. Take notes from three of the hottest, style-savvy school-aged characters on television and you'll be a "model" student in no time.

Pretty Little Liars' Hanna Marin is one of the most popular girls in school thanks in part to polished, perfectly accessorized outfits (a super-cute computer hacker boyfriend doesn't hurt either). To channel her on-trend look, start with a classic LBD, then add eye-catching accessories to ensure you stay the center of attention. We love how she layered a statement necklace under a collar and finished with a bold, studded heel.

Socialite scuba skater dress, $44, and Sam Edelman Darla pumps, $174.95, Nordstrom, Ala Moana Center. Center bow glossy skinny belt, $19.90, Express, Ala Moana Center. Julia Chu for La Muse collar and pearl necklace, $275, La Muse, 1156 Nuuanu Ave. Donetsk laptop bag, $60, ALDO Shoes, Ala Moana Center.

Nowadays, Glee's Rachel Berry favors sultry, city-chic looks, but we have to admit, we miss the adorably quirky, preppy outfits she sported in high school. Channel your inner Barbra-loving schoolgirl with a plaid skirt and lady-like cardigan, then add knee-high socks and patent pumps. Don't forget Rachel's signature finishing touches: a classic charm necklace and shiny, super-straight locks.

Anna cardigan, $59.50, Banana Republic, Kahala Mall. Perfect stretch cotton short sleeve shirt, $58, Ann Taylor, Pearlridge Center. Urban 1972 skater skirt, $36, Basique Threads, Ward Warehouse. Solid knee-high socks, $10, American Apparel, Ala Moana Center. Solvent pumps, $85, Nine West, Ala Moana Center. Wishing Bridge Single Heart necklace, $49, The Butik, 1067 Kapiolani Blvd. Suite A-3.

Ditch detention for a little werewolf hunting à la Teen Wolf's Allison Argent. Pull off a dark, monochromatic outfit by mixing textures and finishes. Start with seamed skinny jeans and a soft, feminine tank, then toughen the look with a zipper-accented bomber jacket and edgy, metallic accessories. Arm yourself with an arrow-shaped double ring (a nod to Allison's weapon of choice) and studded, fold-over booties, perfect for chasing werewolves or cute boys.
