Down with the Sickness

Newly opened Illest Hawaii store to style fashion show at Honolulu Night Market

It seems like everyone has the flu right now, but you? You're not catching germs, you're catching everyone's eye with the latest addition to your closet: Illest's collection of down-to-earth skater-style graphic tees, tanks and accessories.

The new Hawaii store stems from a California-based brand, but its hip, yet retro, cursive font and crisp, black and teal color scheme fit right into the urban style of Kakaako. The clean designs of the wardrobe are complemented by a sleek interior space made with repurposed wood from the Punahou Gym.

Go ahead and cover up your casual Friday ‘do with a cap in classy camel corduroy ($35), and grab a tee with a Bob Marley quote on the back ($25). There are even toys for your toys: We love the wood iPhone covers with the Illest logo ($20).

The Hawaii store features some excellent exclusives, so take advantage of its Puffer (started in Hawaii), and Illest Hawaii (exclusive to the Islands) lines. They’ll be on display at the Night Market fashion show tomorrow night, starting at 8 p.m.

Comfortable, simple, and still looks uber cool? Now that's sick.

Illest Hawaii is located at 680 Ala Moana Blvd., Suite 104A, and follow them on Instagram: @illesthawaii.
