Let the Games Begin
What: The 2012 London Olympic Games officially kicks off tomorrow, but soccer (a.k.a. football) is already underway. Can't wait for NBC's tape-delayed primetime coverage? Hop online and track updates via Twitter or watch live video streams of all 302 events in 32 sports, not including the opening and closing ceremonies.

What: Attention all brides-to-be! The Wedding Cafe's Wednesday Night Workshops are back. With 12 different workshops focusing on topics like venues, photography, invitations & favors, bridal trends and music & entertainment, planning the perfect wedding has never been more, well, perfect!
When: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., August 1-October 10.

What: Lei Chic is now on Instagram! Follow our shopping adventures at "leichichawaii." Our first photo: scouring $30 bins at Fighting Eel's sample sale. There are still plenty of sizes and styles left, but you'll have to go now. The sale ends today at 3 p.m.
Flea the Scene
What: Art & Flea is setting up a big top to celebrate its second anniversary. Enjoy an Otto Cake eating contest, carnival games, fortune tellers and acrobats as you shop the latest handmade and vintage finds from more than 60 local vendors.
When: Tonight, 5-10 p.m.

Details: $3 entry fee, $2 if you come dressed like a clown. Goodwill Industries of Hawaii will also be collecting new or gently used items for next month's Goodwill Goes GLAM event.
What: Sample the delicious results of Madre Chocolate's latest flavor experiments during a free pau hana event. Plus, bring in your favorite drink or cheese and experts will help you find the perfect chocolate pairing.

Feast for the Eyes
What: Take in a buffet of food-related films this weekend. Slow Food Oahu is screening two films about food sustainability, The Shrimp and Eating Alaska, followed by a Q&A with Eating Alaska producer and local resident Shirley Thompson. Then, if you missed Jiro Dreams of Sushi during its Kahala run or want to see its mouth-watering delights one more time, head to Movie Museum for a Saturday showing.
