You’re a free spirit, an artist, the Claudia Kishi of your clique. But let’s face it, we all need to brush up our style once in a while. If you’ve been going mad canvassing stores for a new pièce de résistance, these handmade bow ties by Roseri will get you in the right frame of mind.

Roseri creator Sharon Agamao crafts these double stacked and single bow ties out of striking fabric prints that range from classic florals to pop-culture cartoon characters. “I wanted to make bow ties that people normally don’t find anywhere else,” she says. “I like to be different without having to say it out loud.”

As if her tie pieces weren’t collectible enough, Agamao’s even starting to handprint her own designs on fabric—look for her Ombre Dipped Bow Ties soon.

Agamao, a BFA graduate from the University of Hawaii, aspires to be a full-time artist—stop by her online shop and in addition to her amazing bow ties and hair bows, you can check out original paintings and hand-crafted masquerade masks. But we think there’s more than enough creativity in these expressive bow ties to pack an entire art exhibit. Not to mention get you ready to paint the town red.

A masterpiece in an accessory: talk about making an impression.

Roseri bow ties are available at events like Art and Flea on May 22 from 5–9 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary at 342 Kapahulu Ave., and on the Roseri Etsy Shop.
