The Big Pictures
What: As we mentioned yesterday, the 33rd Hawaii International Film Festival kicks off tonight. What we didn't tell you: In addition to 209+ film screenings, the festival is hosting Creative Lab, a series of workshops for aspiring filmmakers and movie buffs, and several sessions are free and open to the public. - This week, contemporary fashion designer Richard Chai launched his first-ever jewelry collection via the membership-only, subscription-based website JewelMint.
